Hello everyone! I’m IzzieMae, the author of #Reparations, and I’m thrilled to welcome you.
The journey to write this book started about two years ago with a simple question: “If reparations were paid to you today, what would you do with yours?” This sparked incredible debates and brilliant business ideas, all centered around Black Empowerment.
That led me to put ideas on paper, which grew into discussions, suggestions, and eventually, became the core of this book—a framework for Black Empowerment.
This book is specifically for the descendants of American chattel slaves, also identified as Freedmen/Freedwomen and FBA-Foundational Black Americans. I firmly believe that lineage-based reparations will eventually be paid, and now is the time to prepare a mindset for victory and create practical skills and habits to sustain this wealth!
